My name is Selçuk Kılınç, and I am currently a Research and Teaching Assistant with additional EdTech roles at Middle East Technical University in Ankara. I earned my Ph.D. in Science Education from Middle East Technical University, where I also completed my MS in Software Engineering. My academic journey began with an Integrated Bachelor's and Non-Thesis Master's in Chemistry Education at the same institution. With over eight years of experience in educational technology, I have led projects that merge technological innovation with educational needs, focusing on creating inclusive and effective learning environments.

My research interests span a variety of domains where technology intersects with educational methodologies to enhance learning experiences:

Generative AI in Education The ethical use of AI to create personalized learning experiences tailored to individual student needs. I aim to make learning more interactive and engaging by developing AI-enhanced educational tools. I also investigate how Generative AI can foster innovation in teaching, enabling educators to design more effective and creative strategies. This includes projects utilizing AI for adaptive learning platforms, automated content generation, and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring these technologies enhance rather than replace the human element in education.

Emerging Technologies in Education Exploring the integration of cutting-edge technologies like AI-driven tools, real-time monitoring systems, and immersive digital environments in educational settings. My work uses these technologies to transform teaching methodologies and student engagement.

STEM and Citizen Science Developing initiatives that encourage active participation in STEM fields through projects like air quality monitoring with Arduino tools. These projects serve as a catalyst for fostering scientific literacy and environmental awareness among pre-service teachers and students.
